[Drive Dependent Write] - if this option is enabled, program uses a special algorithm for writing files to disk. By using this algoritm the structure of the file depends on the physical and logical parameters of the disk. This file can be opened on the disk only on which program LSN Password Safe will save this file. For example, if your file is stolen through the Internet, hacker cannot open this file in LSN Password Safe, even if he know master password.
To copy the Safe file to another drive when the option [Drive Dependent Write] is "on":
1. Open the file in LSN Password Safe: [Main Menu / File / Open].
2. Save the file to another disk in the LSN Password Safe: [Main Menu / File / Save As].
To copy or move the files from folder to folder on a single disk you can use any way. It is correct.
If option [Drive Dependent Write] is off you can use any way to copy the Safe file.
[Start with Anti Loggers] - when you start the program it automatically run antikeylogger and antimouselogger.
[Start with Hidden Text Mode] - when you start the program, all records are displayed as the asterisks - like a password.
[Memory Wipe] - is becoming free the program wipes dynamically allocated memory getting free.
[Memory Encode] - all the data in record, including passwords, is almost always the run-time encrypted.
[Captcha On Main Password] - CAPTCHA will appear when you open a Safe and enter a master password.
[Captcha On Option Change] - CAPTCHA will appear when you save the option changes (when you click [Ok] in window Options).
[Captcha On Mode Open] - CAPTCHA will appear when you try to change the text mode on more open. For example, in normal mode passwords are displayed as asterisks, but in the open mode - as a simple text.
[Captcha On Editor Open] - CAPTCHA to appear when you switch the main window to the edit mode (when you click on the button with the image of a pencil in the main window).
[Captcha On Save As, File Export] - CAPTCHA will appear when you try to save a Safe on another drive or to another file.
[Captcha On Drag Drop, Copy] - CAPTCHA will appear when you drag-and-drop or copy your password or other field to the external program, but only if the CAPTCHA option is selected in the field properties (in the column [Capt] should be a picture numbers [123]).
[Captcha On AntiLoggers Off] - CAPTCHA will appear when you try to disable antikeyloggers.
[Captcha On Captcha in Record Off] - CAPTCHA will appear if you disable CAPTCHA in the field properties (in the column [Capt] a picture of numbers [123]).
If you do not want to deal with all these options - use the buttons [Light] [Normal] [Strong]
